Range 50 degrees
Total 80° total, from full adduction to full abduction [/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-line-chart” title=”Measurement” tab_id=”1453645099727-443b9839-1143584b-831a” add_icon=”true”][vc_column_text]

Special Notes
- If AROM is performed in supine, the role of the agonists and antagonists will be reversed (eccentric contractions) TIP 360
- PROM is easier to conduct in supine and allows for faster integration with the other horizontal hip movements
- Osteoarthritis can restrict movement in all planes, but most often limits medial rotation and abduction
