Likely Cause

For more of the palm of the hand is visible

• Arm is medially rotated – short arm Medial rotators and/or long arm lateral rotators
• Short pectoralis minor (indirectly through scapula) and/or long scapular retractors
• Forearm is pronated – short forearm pronators and/or long forearm supinators

For more of the back of the hand is visible

• Arm is laterally rotated – short arm lateral rotators and/or long arm medial rotators
• Forearm is supinated – short forearm supinators and/or long forearm pronators
• Short scapular retractors and/or long scapular protractors
